I have made a pen that I will hang around the neck of a girl who has graduated after eleven years in school. She likes to draw so it had to be a pencil.

Here is the pattern if you want to do the same.

Hook: 2,5

Yarn: Tilda from Svartafaretab. 50% cotton/50% acryl 50gr=150m

Start: chain 2 in the color of the rubber

Round1. 6 sc in the second chain from hook

Round2: Inc around (12)

Round3. [sc, inc] around (18)

Round4. [sc2, inc] around (24)

Round5. 24 sc in back loops only

Round6-7. sc around (24)

Change yarn to black

Round8. sc around (24)

Change yarn to the color of the pen

Round9. 24 sc in back loops only

Round10-35. sc round (24)

Change to beige yarn

Round36. [2 sc, dec] in back loops only (18)

Round37-38. sc around (18)

Round39. [ sc,dec ] ( 12)

Change to black yarn

Round40. dec (6)

Round41. sc (6)

Fasten off.

Start: chain 2 White yarn

Round1: 7 sc in the second chain from hook

Round2. inc around (14)

Round3. [ sc, inc] around (21)

Round4. [ 2sc, inc] around (28)

Round5. [3sc, inc] around (35)

Round6-7. sc around (35)

Round8. [ 3sc, dec] around (28)

Change to black yarn

Round9-10. sc around (28)

Round11. 3slip stitch, 1 sc, 1 hdc, [ 2dc in 1 sc] x3, 1hdc, 1 sc, 1sl.

Fasten off

The mark on the hat.

chain 2, 5 sc in the second chain from hook. Fasten off but spare yarn to sew it on the hat. Make a stitch of blue in the middle.

Fals Turtleneck Collar

Yarn: This is made of an acrylic yarn 133m/50mg (145yards/1,76ounce)

Hook: 5mm

Note! Crochet very loose to get a soft and fluffy collar.

This is written with English crochet terminology.

sl st    slip stich

ch       chain

dc        double crochet

tr        treble crochet

fptr    front post treble crochet (front post double crochet)

Chain 31 as Foundation row.

Row1. 30dc. Finich with 1 ch.

Row2-55. 30 dc in the back loop of the ch from previous row. Finich every row with 1 ch.

Crochet the rectangel together as a tube. Don`t cut the yarn.! Turn the tube to get the right side out.

Row56. crochet 64 dc equally distributed around the edge. Close with a sl.

Row57. *2dc, 2dc in next chain* repeat *-* until the row is finished. Meaning you are increasing with 1 dc in every third chain. Close with a sl.

Row58. 4ch, 1tr in the same chain, * jump 1dc, 1tr,jump 1dc, 1tr+1ch+1tr in the same ch,* repeat *-* until the row is finished.

Row59. sl st until you reach the chain loop. Chain 5+1tr, * in the tr from the previous row make 1fptr, 1tr+2ch+ttr in the chain loop* repeat *-* until the row is finished.

row60-62. sl st until you reach the chain loop. 3ch+1tr+2ch+2tr, *1fptr, 2tr+2ch+2tr in the chain loop* repeat *-* until the row is finished.

Row63. sl st until you reach the chain loop. 3ch+1tr+3ch+2tr, * 1fptr, 2tr+3ch+2tr in the chain loop* Repeat *-* until the row is finished.

Row64. sl st until you reach the chain loop. 3ch+2tr+2ch+3tr, * 1fptr, 3tr+2ch+3tr in the chain loop* Repeat *-* until the row is finshed.

Row65. sl st until you reach the chain loop. 3ch+2tr+3ch+3tr, * 1fptr, 3tr+3ch+3tr in the chain loop.* Repeat *-* until the row is finished.

Row66.* 1dc in every tr, 1ch+1tr+1ch in chain loop* Repeat *-* until the row is finished.

Finish off by fastening the thread.

Shawl collar !

imageYarn: Split from Jarbo Garn. You vill need nearly four balls of yarn which is 50gr and 50 meter each.

Yarn needle: size 8 (UK size 0)

This pattern i for adult. If you want to do it for a child, just do less singel crochet and not as many rounds.

Start: chain 21

Round 1. In the second chain from the hook, single crochet to the end = 20 single crochet.

Chain up 1 and turn

Round 2-74: 20 single crochet in the backloop only.

Mounting and finishing:

Place the short sides towards the long sides to form a V in the front.

Round 1. Start in the tip of the V. Crochet the two layers together with 20 sc and then continue with 1 sc in each round until you reach the next double layer which you crochet together with 20 sc.

Round 2. 3 sl st, 1 dc in each sc from the previous round. When back in the tip, make 2 dc in the 3 sl st you started the round with.

Round 3. Make 2 sc along the long side of the last dc, continue with 1 sc in each dc.

Fasten off and work away your tails of yarn.

Decorate one side with large buttons.

Fold down the shawl.
